Switch between the untinted glass and the same view with this film fitted. View exterior turns the window round and shows the street side, so you can see how this film really looks from outside. The chip shows its measured 29% VLT. Photography is indicative; ask us for a physical sample against your own glass before you decide.

Vista by LLumar SpectraSelect Performance VS30 SR CDF: Purpose and Appearance
Vista by LLumar develops SpectraSelect Performance VS30 SR CDF as a medium-dark architectural window film for selective infrared control. The film rejects heat while preserving more visible light. With 29% visible light transmission (VLT) on single-pane, 1/8-inch clear glass, it balances daylight and solar control. Its spectrally selective appearance helps designers, owners, and facility teams coordinate glass with surrounding architecture.
The product works well for residential window film and commercial window films in storefronts, homes, and commercial spaces. Spaces needing minimal light reduction with strong heat rejection benefit most. It solves comfort issues, glare problems, fading, and energy-management concerns that untreated windows create. For solar control priorities, this spectrally selective option delivers superior thermal control while maintaining natural daylight.
Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance
Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, SpectraSelect Performance VS30 SR CDF rejects 75% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 71%. This can help moderate hot spots near windows and may reduce cooling demand during sunny weather. The film also provides 68% glare reduction, which can improve comfort around televisions, computers, displays, work surfaces, and customer areas. Because it transmits 29% of visible light, the selected shade should be matched to the room’s daylight goals rather than judged by heat rejection alone.
UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection
The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. SpectraSelect Performance VS30 SR CDF provides 84% infrared energy rejection and 92% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.
Reflectivity, Views, and Privacy
The film shows approximately 44% visible reflectance on the exterior and 38% on the interior. These reflectance figures explain how noticeable finished glass appears from each side and how reflections affect outward views. Daytime privacy varies with lighting conditions, film shade, glass type, and viewing angle. You should never guarantee daytime privacy. Window film does not create nighttime privacy. When interior brightness exceeds outside light, you need blinds, shades, curtains, or privacy protection film for necessary coverage.
Professional Glass Review and Installation
Installers apply SpectraSelect Performance VS30 SR CDF to the interior side of compatible glazing. Glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate determine final suitability. Performance data varies by glazing system, so actual results differ between installations. OOVO Window Films inspects your glass, compares model options within the Spectrally-Selective Series, and recommends a product matching your property’s comfort, appearance, and performance priorities. Our professional team prepares and installs the film correctly to deliver a clean finish and dependable long-term performance.
