Vista by LLumar Soft Horizons V33 SR CDF: Purpose and Appearance

Vista by LLumar Soft Horizons V33 SR CDF is a medium-dark architectural window film developed for uniform light transmission and a soft, neutral appearance. With 34% visible light transmission on single-pane, 1/8-inch clear glass, it provides a deliberate balance between daylight and solar control. Its spectrally selective, neutral appearance helps designers, owners, and facility teams coordinate the glass with the surrounding architecture. The product is well suited to residential window film and commercial window films applications in homes, offices, showrooms, and high-visibility display windows, especially when untreated windows create comfort, glare, fading, or energy-management concerns.

Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance

Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, Soft Horizons V33 SR CDF rejects 54% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 47%. This can help moderate hot spots near windows and may reduce cooling demand during sunny weather. The film also provides 62% glare reduction, which can improve comfort around televisions, computers, displays, work surfaces, and customer areas. Because it transmits 34% of visible light, the selected shade should be matched to the room’s daylight goals rather than judged by heat rejection alone.

UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection

The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. Soft Horizons V33 SR CDF provides 54% infrared energy rejection and 70% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.

Professional Glass Review and Installation

Soft Horizons V33 SR CDF is designed for installation on the interior side of compatible glazing, but final suitability depends on glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate. Performance data is comparative and actual results vary by glazing system. OOVO Window Films can inspect the glass, compare model options within the Neutral Series, and recommend a commercial window film or residential window film product aligned with the property’s comfort, appearance, and performance priorities. Professional preparation and installation also support a clean finish and dependable long-term performance. Review our warranty coverage and installation preparation guide before requesting a residential or commercial assessment.

Measured by the manufacturer on 1/8in (3mm) Single Clear. Performance on your own glass depends on its type and thickness, which is why we check it on site.
