Vista by LLumar Dayview V45 SR CDF: Purpose and Appearance

Vista by LLumar Dayview V45 SR CDF is a balanced architectural window film. It offers uniform light transmission and a soft, neutral appearance. With 46% visible light transmission (VLT) on single-pane clear glass, it balances daylight with solar control. Its spectrally selective finish helps designers, owners, and facility teams coordinate glass with building architecture. The product fits homes, offices, showrooms, and high-visibility display windows. It reduces solar heat gain and mitigates ultraviolet rays to solve comfort, glare, fading, and energy-management issues on untreated glass.

Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance

Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, Dayview V45 SR CDF rejects 45% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 36%. This can help moderate hot spots near windows and may reduce cooling demand during sunny weather. The film also provides 49% glare reduction, which can improve comfort around televisions, computers, displays, work surfaces, and customer areas. Because it transmits 46% of visible light, the selected shade should be matched to the room’s daylight goals rather than judged by heat rejection alone.

UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection

The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. Dayview V45 SR CDF provides 44% infrared energy rejection and 59% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.

Reflectivity, Views, and Privacy

Visible reflectance is approximately 15% on the exterior and 13% on the interior. These figures help explain how noticeable the finished glass may appear from each side and how reflections may affect outward views. Daytime privacy can vary with lighting conditions, film shade, glass, and viewing angle, so it should never be guaranteed. Window film does not create nighttime privacy: when the interior is brighter than outside, blinds, shades, curtains, or another covering are required.

Professional Glass Review and Installation

Installers fit Dayview V45 SR CDF on the interior side of compatible glass. Final suitability depends on glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate. Performance data remains comparative because actual results vary by glazing system. OOVO Window Films inspects the glass, compares model options within the Neutral Series, and evaluates the total solar energy rejected (TSER) to recommend a product aligned with property comfort, appearance, and performance priorities. Professional surface preparation and installation support a clean finish and dependable long-term durability across commercial properties. Request a residential or commercial assessment.
