Vista by LLumar Ambiance VE35 SR CDF: Purpose and Appearance

Vista by LLumar Ambiance VE35 SR CDF is a medium-dark architectural window film built with a low-emissivity insulating layer for year-round energy efficiency. With 26% visible light transmission (VLT) on single-pane clear glass, it balances natural daylight with strong solar control. Its spectrally selective finish helps designers, owners, and facility teams coordinate glass with building architecture. The product suits homes and commercial properties seeking summer solar heat gain reduction and winter heat retention. It solves temperature swings, screen glare, interior fading, and high energy bills on untreated glass.

Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance

Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, Ambiance VE35 SR CDF rejects 75% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 71%. This can help moderate hot spots near windows and may reduce cooling demand during sunny weather. The film also provides 71% glare reduction, which can improve comfort around televisions, computers, displays, work surfaces, and customer areas. Because it transmits 26% of visible light, the selected shade should be matched to the room’s daylight goals rather than judged by heat rejection alone.

UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection

The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. Ambiance VE35 SR CDF provides 81% infrared energy rejection and 89% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.

Reflectivity, Views, and Privacy

Visible reflectance is approximately 39% on the exterior and 41% on the interior. These figures help explain how noticeable the finished glass may appear from each side and how reflections may affect outward views. Daytime privacy can vary with lighting conditions, film shade, glass, and viewing angle, so it should never be guaranteed. Window film does not create nighttime privacy: when the interior is brighter than outside, blinds, shades, curtains, or another covering are required.

Professional Glass Review and Installation

Installers fit Ambiance VE35 SR CDF on the interior side of compatible glass. Final suitability depends on glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate. Performance data remains comparative because actual results vary by glazing system. OOVO Window Films inspects the glass, compares options within our Low-E window film collection, and evaluates total solar energy rejected (TSER) to recommend the right product for the property. Professional surface preparation and installation deliver a clean finish and dependable long-term durability. Request a residential or commercial assessment.

Measured by the manufacturer on 1/8in (3mm) Single Clear. Performance on your own glass depends on its type and thickness, which is why we check it on site.

OOVO does not sell window film online

Film is cut and fitted to the glass it goes on, so every job is quoted after someone has seen it. There is no cart here on purpose.

1. Tell us the rooms. Send the glass you want treated and rough measurements, or just call and describe the problem.
2. We visit and measure. We check the glass for compatibility and hold samples against your own window in your own light.
3. You get a fixed price. Supplied and installed, no surprises on the day.
4. We install and clean up. Then the manufacturer warranty and our labor warranty both start.
