Heat Rejection Without a Mirrored Exterior

Terre V41 rejects 58% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 51% according to Vista’s 2025 performance data. This can help moderate uncomfortable hot spots near windows and reduce the burden placed on cooling systems during sunny conditions. The product also delivers 49% glare reduction, improving visual comfort for occupants using televisions, computers, point-of-sale equipment, or other screens. Its middle-range shade makes it adaptable to spaces that need noticeable relief without the darker appearance of Terre V31.

Protection From UV and Solar Infrared Energy

The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the manufacturer’s tested 300-380 nm wavelength range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, product displays, and interior finishes. Because fading is also affected by visible light, heat, humidity, and the characteristics of each material, no film can stop it completely. Terre V41 provides 70% infrared energy rejection and 83% selective infrared rejection under the manufacturer’s distinct infrared measurements. Extremely Low Interior and Exterior Reflectivity

Visible light reflectance measures approximately 7% on both the exterior and interior sides of the glass. This restrained finish minimizes visual disruption, supports a natural exterior appearance, and avoids the prominent mirror effect of reflective films. Low interior reflectivity supports improved outward views from inside after dark. However, property owners should not view it as nighttime privacy. Interior glass, installed by a LLumar dealer. Covers bubbling, corrosion, crazing, delaminating and peeling. Must be edge sealed if installed within 10 km (6.2 miles) of the ocean. Optional Residential Gold Warranty available. Vista residential warranty transferable one time only; commercial warranties are not transferable.
