SOLYX Dual Misty Frost Gradient is a dual-fade frost: a band densest at its center that fades to clear above and below, screening the middle of the pane while keeping views through the clear areas. It transmits 69% of visible light and blocks 98% of ultraviolet.

SOLYX Dual Misty Frost Gradient: Purpose and Appearance
SOLYX Dual Misty Frost Gradient is a dual-fade frost: a horizontal band 60 inches high is densest at its center and fades to clear both upward and downward, so it screens the middle of the pane while the glass above and below stays clear. Manufacturer code SXJ-0598. 2 mil polyester with a removable pressure-sensitive adhesive. Interior glass application. Visible light transmission is an average across the gradient.
Privacy, Day and Night
This film gives partial privacy where its frosted band is densest, in daylight and after dark, while the clear areas above and below keep the view open. Privacy varies with the lighting and distance from the glass; silhouettes may remain visible, especially close to the pane. We recommend a sample under your actual lighting conditions. The manufacturer publishes 69% visible light transmission, 27% exterior visible reflectance, 98% of ultraviolet blocked, 38% of total solar energy rejected. Figures are comparative and measured on the manufacturer’s stated test glazing, so actual results vary with the glass they are applied to.
