Solar Gard positions white dots for high contrast against darker backgrounds, such as lower floors where the glass reflects trees and planting. That is a visibility assessment, not a tested result: the reflective-glass test Solar Gard publishes for the range is for WingSafe Black Dot. Which pattern shows best depends on your facade and what it reflects, so we hold a sample against your own glass before recommending one.
Published Performance
The manufacturer publishes 89% visible light transmission, 10% exterior visible reflectance, 99% of ultraviolet blocked, 17% of total solar energy rejected, 10% interior visible reflectance, 1% glare reduction, a solar heat gain coefficient of 0.83, a winter U-factor of 1.04. Those figures are the 1/8 in (3 mm) clear, single pane column of the manufacturer’s table; thicker and double-pane glazing performs differently. Figures are comparative and measured on the manufacturer’s stated test glazing, so actual results vary with the glass they are applied to.

Film is cut and fitted to the glass it goes on, so every job is quoted after someone has seen it. There is no cart here on purpose.

- You get a fixed price. Supplied and installed, no surprises on the day.
