Threat Factor
The American Bird Conservancy's tested collision score. Lower is better, and 30 or under counts as bird friendly. This series scores Not tested. It is a comparative index, not a percentage of collisions prevented.
Visible light
How much daylight comes through. This series runs 76% to 76%. Lower is darker and more private, higher keeps the room bright and the view closer to untreated glass.
Warranty
How long the manufacturer stands behind the film. This series carries 10 years. The pattern must stay visible for the film to keep working, so the term matters.

This series is $25 per square foot, supplied and installed. At that rate, a 250 square foot project comes to about $6,250. The final figure depends on the number of panes, their size and access.
It helps. The films in this series block 99% of ultraviolet, which is the largest single cause of fading; the table above gives each film's own figure. No film stops fading completely, because visible light, heat and humidity all contribute too.
