LLumar Exterior Blue 80 (THE 80 BL ER): Purpose and Appearance
LLumar Exterior Blue 80 is a clear exterior film with a very light blue hue and high clarity, applied to the outside face of the glass. Manufacturer code THE 80 BL ER. We offer it where concentrated sunlight reflected off low-e glass is a concern for neighboring turf, siding or windows, and it blocks more than 99% of UV rays. How much it helps a given site depends on the glass, the angle of the sun and the surface being hit, so we assess the site and confirm the application with Eastman before recommending it. It is not a guarantee against reflection damage.
Published Performance
On the manufacturer’s single-pane, 1/8-inch (3 mm) clear test glass, LLumar publishes 78% visible light transmission, 43% of total solar energy rejected, a solar heat gain coefficient of 0.57, 13% glare reduction, visible reflectance of 9% on both the exterior and the interior, and more than 99% of ultraviolet blocked. Thicker and double-pane glazing performs differently, so use these figures to compare films; actual results vary with your glass.

OOVO does not sell window film online
Film is cut and fitted to the glass it goes on, so every job is quoted after someone has seen it. There is no cart here on purpose.
- Tell us the rooms. Send the glass you want treated and rough measurements, or just call and describe the problem.
- We visit and measure. We check the glass for compatibility and hold samples against your own window in your own light.
- You get a fixed price. Supplied and installed, no surprises on the day.
- We install and clean up. Then the manufacturer warranty and our labor warranty both start.
