$24 per sq ft installed. Figures are measured on 1/8in (3mm) Single Clear.
What Reflection Mitigation is for
Exterior films in the Reflection Mitigation range, running from 78% visible light at the darkest to 78% at the lightest. Exterior applied, Reflection Mitigation rejects 43% of the solar energy hitting the glass on the manufacturer's test glass, depending on the film, and every film in the series blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet. Which one suits a room depends on how much daylight you want to keep, which is why we check it against your own glass before quoting.
Every film here is fitted to the exterior face of the glass and is covered by both the manufacturer warranty and our own warranty on the installation. Performance figures below are the manufacturer's, measured on 1/8in (3mm) Single Clear; your own glass will differ, which is why we measure on site before quoting.

Three numbers decide it
Every film in this series trades the same three things against each other. Once you know which one matters most in the room, the choice narrows to one or two films.
Visible light
How much daylight comes through. This series runs 78% to 78%. Lower is darker and more private, higher keeps the room bright and the view closer to untreated glass.
Heat rejected
How much solar energy is turned away before it reaches the room, up to 43% here. This is what a west-facing room in August actually feels. It usually moves in the opposite direction to visible light.
Glare reduction
How much the harsh, squinting brightness is taken off. Worth weighting heavily around televisions, monitors, work surfaces and anywhere someone faces the window.

Before you decide
No, and that is deliberate. Film is cut and fitted to the glass it goes on, so every job is priced after someone has seen it. Send us the rooms and we will book a free estimate.
Start with how much daylight you want to keep. This series runs 78% to 78% visible light. Once that is settled, the heat and glare figures in the table above usually leave one obvious choice.
This series is $24 per square foot, supplied and installed. At that rate, a 250 square foot project comes to about $6,000. The final figure depends on the number of panes, their size and access.
It slows it down considerably. Every film in this series blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet, which is the largest single cause of fading. No film stops fading completely, because visible light, heat and humidity all contribute too.
