Switch between the untinted glass and the same view with this film fitted. View exterior turns the window round and shows the street side, so you can see how this film really looks from outside. The chip shows its measured 50% VLT. Photography is indicative; ask us for a physical sample against your own glass before you decide.
LLumar N1050 SR CDF
LLumar N1050 SR CDF is a neutral window film that transmits 50% of visible light, rejects 41% of total solar energy, reduces glare by 44%, and blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays.
LLumar N1050 SR CDF: Purpose and Appearance
LLumar N1050 SR CDF is a balanced architectural window film developed for uniform light transmission and a soft, neutral appearance. With 50% visible light transmission on single-pane, 1/8-inch clear glass, it provides a deliberate balance between daylight and solar control. Its neutral appearance helps designers, owners, and facility teams coordinate the glass with the surrounding architecture. The product is well suited to homes, offices, showrooms, and high-visibility display windows, especially when untreated windows create comfort, glare, fading, or energy-management concerns.
Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance
Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, N1050 SR CDF rejects 41% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 31%. This can help moderate hot spots near windows and may reduce cooling demand during sunny weather. The film also provides 44% glare reduction, which can improve comfort around televisions, computers, displays, work surfaces, and customer areas. Because it transmits 50% of visible light, the selected shade should be matched to the room’s daylight goals rather than judged by heat rejection alone.
UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection
The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. N1050 SR CDF provides 44% infrared energy rejection and 58% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.
Reflectivity, Views, and Privacy
Visible reflectance is approximately 14% on the exterior and 11% on the interior. These figures help explain how noticeable the finished glass may appear from each side and how reflections may affect outward views. Daytime privacy can vary with lighting conditions, film shade, glass, and viewing angle, so it should never be guaranteed. Window film does not create nighttime privacy: when the interior is brighter than outside, blinds, shades, curtains, or another covering are required.
Professional Glass Review and Installation
Install N1050 SR CDF on the interior side of compatible glazing. Several factors affect final suitability: glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate. Performance data varies by glazing system. Actual results depend on your specific conditions. OOVO Window Films inspects your glass. We compare model options within the Neutral Series. We recommend a product that matches your comfort, appearance, and performance priorities. Professional preparation and installation deliver a clean finish. They ensure dependable long-term performance. Request a residential or commercial assessment to evaluate your needs.
