LLumar Mist NRM80 PS2

LLumar Mist NRM80 PS2: Purpose and Appearance

LLumar Mist NRM80 PS2 is the lightest frost in the range, for a subtle softening of the glass that keeps the room bright. 2 mil polyester frosted privacy film, privacy rating 5 of 10 on the manufacturer scale. LLumar publishes light figures for its decorative range as approximate diffuse values, intended for aesthetic comparison rather than as NFRC performance data.

Privacy, Day and Night

This film obscures views through its frosted finish in daylight and after dark, while keeping the room bright at 79% visible light transmission. Privacy varies with the design, lighting and distance from the glass; silhouettes may remain visible, especially close to the pane. We recommend a sample under your actual lighting conditions. Where complete privacy is needed, an opaque whiteout or blackout film is the one to look at instead.

Published Performance

The manufacturer publishes 79% visible light transmission, 19% exterior visible reflectance. Figures are comparative and measured on the manufacturer’s stated test glazing, so actual results vary with the glass they are applied to.

Professional Glass Review and Installation

Final suitability depends on architectural glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing and orientation. OOVO Window Films can inspect the glass, compare the options within the Frosted Privacy range and recommend the film that fits the property. Request a residential or commercial assessment.
