LLumar Frost NRM PS2: Purpose and Appearance

LLumar Frost NRM PS2 is the standard matte frost in the range, giving an even etched-glass look while still passing most of the daylight. 2 mil polyester, privacy rating 7 of 10 on the manufacturer scale. LLumar publishes light figures for its decorative range as approximate diffuse values, intended for aesthetic comparison rather than as NFRC performance data.

Privacy, Day and Night

This film obscures views through its frosted finish in daylight and after dark, while keeping the room bright at 73% visible light transmission. Privacy varies with the design, lighting and distance from the glass; silhouettes may remain visible, especially close to the pane. We recommend a sample under your actual lighting conditions. Where complete privacy is needed, an opaque whiteout or blackout film is the one to look at instead.

Published Performance

The manufacturer publishes 73% visible light transmission, 25% exterior visible reflectance. Figures are comparative and measured on the manufacturer’s stated test glazing, so actual results vary with the glass they are applied to.

Interior glass, installed by a LLumar dealer. Covers bubbling, corrosion, crazing, delaminating and peeling. Not transferable.
