LLumar SHE CL ER PS7 is a clear exterior window film that transmits 89% of visible light, rejects 16% of total solar energy, reduces glare by 1%, and blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays.

LLumar SHE CL ER PS7: Purpose and Appearance
LLumar SHE CL ER PS7 is a clear, 7-mil protective film applied to the exterior of the glass, for projects where an interior installation is not practical because of access or glass compatibility. It keeps the glass looking clear at 89% visible light transmission and blocks more than 99% of UV rays, which helps slow fading of interior finishes. Its added heat and glare control is small, so it is chosen for exterior clear protection and UV screening rather than for solar control. See our commercial window films for the full range.
Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance
Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, SHE CL ER PS7 rejects 16% of total solar energy, reduces summer solar heat gain by 2% and reduces glare by 1%. Those are small changes: this film is chosen for exterior clear protection and UV screening, not for cooling or glare control. At 89% visible light transmission, rooms keep their daylight.
UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection
The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. SHE CL ER PS7 provides 17% infrared energy rejection and 20% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.
Reflectivity, Views, and Privacy
Visible reflectance is approximately 9% on both the exterior and the interior, so the glass looks much as it did before.
As a clear film, it provides no meaningful visual privacy by day or night.
Professional Glass Review and Installation
SHE CL ER PS7 is designed for installation on the exterior side of the glazing, but final suitability depends on glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate. Performance data is comparative and actual results vary by glazing system. OOVO does not sell window film online
Film is cut and fitted to the glass it goes on, so every job is quoted after someone has seen it. There is no cart here on purpose.
- Tell us the rooms. Send the glass you want treated and rough measurements, or just call and describe the problem.
- We visit and measure. We check the glass for compatibility and hold samples against your own window in your own light.
- You get a fixed price. Supplied and installed, no surprises on the day.
- We install and clean up. Then the manufacturer warranty and our labor warranty both start.
