LLumar RHE35 ER HPR: Purpose and Appearance

LLumar RHE35 ER HPR is a medium-dark architectural window film developed for solar control applied to the exterior face of the glazing. With 29% visible light transmission on single-pane, 1/8-inch clear glass, it provides a deliberate balance between daylight and solar control. Its silver exterior appearance helps designers, owners, and facility teams coordinate the glass with the surrounding architecture. The product is well suited to glass configurations or access conditions that call for an exterior installation, especially when untreated windows create comfort, glare, fading, or energy-management concerns.

Heat, Glare, and Daylight Performance

Under the manufacturer’s stated NFRC-based test conditions, RHE35 ER HPR rejects 70% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 65%. This can help moderate hot spots near windows and may reduce cooling demand during sunny weather. The film also provides 68% glare reduction, which can improve comfort around televisions, computers, displays, work surfaces, and customer areas. Because it transmits 29% of visible light, the selected shade should be matched to the room’s daylight goals rather than judged by heat rejection alone.

UV, Infrared, and Interior Protection

The film blocks more than 99% of ultraviolet rays in the tested 300-380 nm range. Reducing UV exposure can help slow premature fading of flooring, furniture, fabrics, artwork, merchandise, and other finishes. No film can eliminate fading because visible light, heat, humidity, and material composition also contribute. RHE35 ER HPR provides 76% infrared energy rejection and 84% selective infrared rejection under two different manufacturer measurements. These values are useful supporting indicators, while total solar energy rejected provides the broader measure of overall solar performance.

Reflectivity, Views, and Privacy

Visible reflectance is approximately 48% on the exterior and 45% on the interior. These figures help explain how noticeable the finished glass may appear from each side and how reflections may affect outward views. Daytime privacy can vary with lighting conditions, film shade, glass, and viewing angle, so it should never be guaranteed. Window film does not create nighttime privacy: when the interior is brighter than outside, blinds, shades, curtains, or another covering are required.

Professional Glass Review and Installation

RHE35 ER HPR is designed for installation on the exterior side of the glazing, but final suitability depends on glass type, pane configuration, coatings, edge condition, framing, orientation, shade, and local climate. Performance data is comparative and actual results vary by glazing system. OOVO Window Films can inspect the glass, compare model options within the Exterior Series, and recommend a product aligned with the property’s comfort, appearance, and performance priorities. Professional preparation and installation also support a clean finish and dependable long-term performance. Measured by the manufacturer on 1/8in (3mm) Single Clear. Performance on your own glass depends on its type and thickness, which is why we check it on site.

OOVO does not sell window film online

Film is cut and fitted to the glass it goes on, so every job is quoted after someone has seen it. There is no cart here on purpose.

1. Tell us the rooms. Send the glass you want treated and rough measurements, or just call and describe the problem.
2. We visit and measure. We check the glass for compatibility and hold samples against your own window in your own light.
3. You get a fixed price. Supplied and installed, no surprises on the day.
