Switch between the untinted glass and the same view with this film fitted. View exterior turns the window round and shows the street side, so you can see how this film really looks from outside. The chip shows its measured 66% VLT. Photography is indicative; ask us for a physical sample against your own glass before you decide.
LLumar Ceramic 65 SR PS
LLumar Ceramic 65 SR PS is a light, neutral ceramic film that transmits 66% of visible light while rejecting 33% of total solar energy and blocking more than 98% of ultraviolet rays.
A Light Ceramic Film for Minimal Appearance Change
LLumar Ceramic 65 SR PS is the lightest option in this Ceramic Series group, making it ideal for customers who want to preserve abundant daylight and the natural appearance of their windows. The film transmits 66% of visible light on 1/8-inch clear glass and has approximately 9% visible reflectance on both the exterior and interior. The result is a neutral, low-reflectivity finish that avoids a strong mirrored or heavily tinted look.
Moderate Heat and Glare Reduction
Ceramic 65 rejects 33% of total solar energy and reduces summer solar heat gain by 22% under the manufacturer’s stated test conditions. Although it provides less solar rejection than the darker Ceramic 35, 45, and 55 models, it offers a valuable improvement for spaces where maintaining high light transmission is the deciding factor. Glare reduction is 27%, helping soften bright daylight while keeping rooms open and inviting. This balance can work well in living areas, offices, retail environments, and architectural settings where darker glass would be undesirable.
More Than 98% UV Protection
The film blocks more than 98% of ultraviolet rays in LLumar’s tested 300-380 nm range. By limiting UV exposure, Ceramic 65 can help reduce one of the primary causes of premature fading affecting flooring, furniture, textiles, artwork, photographs, and displayed products. Window film cannot prevent all fading because heat, visible light, humidity, and material quality also influence deterioration. However, it adds meaningful protection without requiring occupants to sacrifice the natural light they enjoy.
Low Reflectivity, Clearer Views, and Durable Construction
Ceramic 65 provides 37% infrared energy rejection and 50% selective infrared rejection under the manufacturer’s separate infrared measurements. Its corrosion-resistant ceramic construction is suitable for coastal applications where salt deposits and sea air can be concerns. Low interior reflectivity also supports clearer outward views after dark than highly reflective films. This benefit should not be confused with nighttime privacy: when a building is brighter inside than outside, people may still see through the glass, so blinds, shades, or curtains are required for privacy.
Choose the Film That Matches the Project
LLumar Ceramic 65 SR PS is a strong choice for projects centered on natural light, subtle aesthetics, UV protection, and moderate solar control. It is particularly appropriate when the owner wants the windows to remain visually light while gaining measurable protection and comfort benefits. Actual results depend on the glass type, pane configuration, coatings, window direction, local climate, and surrounding shade. OOVO Window Films can inspect the glazing, compare Ceramic Series options, and recommend the model that best matches the property’s priorities.
